Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University,Patan

The university is spread over 6 districts of Patan, Mehsana, Banaskantha, Tharad, Sabarkantha and Arvalli. A large body of over 600 affiliated colleges and their students, the university, has approached the Gujarat Government and requested for a new sub centre at Khedbrahma with a public demand to encourage, support and nurture the students of the university.

The Education Department in 2014 handed over 100 acres of land to the Registrar, Hemchandrachary North Gujarat University, Patan, for the development of university education and especially tribal education development of North Gujarat region. Gujarat Government has allocated a grant for the construction of compound wall in the financial year 2015-16. The University allocated a grant from its own funds for the Student Facilitation Centre for the construction of a sub-centre at Vadali in 2020 and the sub-centre was commissioned in the year 2020.

The Gujarat government has allocated a grant for the construction of a new thriving organic farming research center in the financial year 2019-20.
